About Me
I am a senior at Northwestern University McCormick School of Engineering studying Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in design. I am passionate about learning, teaching, and all things design and manufacturing. This is exemplified in my course work, on-campus job, club participation, and personal hobbies.
Last year, I applied my knowledge and experience leading new students interested in design and engineering as the chassis team lead on Northwestern's Baja SAE car team. I was in charge of designing the frame of our 2022 vehicle as well as guiding new members on all chassis related projects. This year as the operations director, I am helping manage the team and creating a fun environment for people to learn. In addition, I work as a shop trainer at the Segal Design Institute at Northwestern University, aiding students with class projects, teaching members how to use shop tools and equipment, and encouraging design for manufacturing practices.
I am always seeking to learn new skills. I have proactively made an effort to learn how to use all of the shop equipment, through which I have gained experience using a waterjet, laser cutter, and CNC milling machine. Outside of work and engineering-related clubs, I spend my time making props and costumes, and am a drummer in Boomshaka, Northwestern's premier drum, dance and rhythm ensemble.
